my basil

is NOT doing too hot.  it’s leggy and skinny and keeps flowering, and there is something around here that finds it unbelieveably delicious and KEEPS EATING IT.  any suggestions??  is cutting it back the only option?  everything else in the garden is growing like crazy and not much else is being munched on.
